🔨 Services Provided

Description of Services

DEMPco Ltd provides professional plastering services, including but not limited to:

  • Interior and exterior wall plastering and skimming
  • Drywall installation and finishing
  • Ceiling repairs and patchwork repairs

Scope of Work

The specific scope of work will be discussed prior to the accepted quote or project agreement. Any work outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges. We reserve the right to modify services based on site conditions, structural issues, or unforeseen complications discovered during work.

Quality Standards

All work is performed to industry standards and good trade practice in accordance with British Standards (BS 5492:2011 and BS 8481:2015). However, the final appearance may vary based on substrate condition, environmental factors, and material limitations.

Note: Some variations in finish are normal and expected in plastering. Minor imperfections, slight color variations, and surface texture variations are not considered defects. Direct your concerns to us and we'll judge on a case-by-case basis any reported issues or concerns.

💷 Pricing & Payment

Quote Calculator Tool

Quotes generated by our online calculator are automated estimates provided for general guidance only. They are based solely on the information entered and do not account for site conditions, access restrictions, material variations, unforeseen complications, or other factors that may affect the final cost.

These estimates do not constitute a formal offer and are not legally binding. No contract shall exist unless and until a written quotation has been issued following site inspection and formally accepted by both parties.

By using this calculator, you acknowledge that estimates may vary from the final quoted price. We accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on an online estimate, to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.

Quote Validity

All quotes provided by DEMPco Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Quotes are estimates based on information provided and site inspections; actual costs may vary if conditions differ from the assessment.

Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure your project date and begin work unless different terms have been agreed.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon completion of work
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer, or cash.
  • Payment Due Date: Unless otherwise agreed, final payment is due on completion of work

Late Payments

Invoices are due as specified. Late payments may result in:

  • Interest charges at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate
  • Suspension of services or warranty
  • Additional charges for debt recovery

Price Increases

Material costs may fluctuate. If a significant delay occurs (more than 8 weeks) between quote acceptance and project start, we reserve the right to adjust pricing to reflect current material costs.

📊 Quotes & Estimates

How Quotes Work

Our online quote calculator provides an automated estimate for informational purposes only. These figures are based on standard assumptions and do not constitute a binding quote. Actual project costs may differ based on various factors, e.g.:

  • On-site inspection findings
  • Structural or substrate issues
  • Access and safety requirements
  • Material availability
  • Project complexity

Formal Quotes

Formal written quotes are provided following an on-site consultation or detailed project discussion. These quotes are based on:

  • Visual assessment of the work area
  • Discussion of specific requirements
  • Current market material costs
  • Standard labor rates

Changes to Quotes

If you wish to modify the scope of work after accepting a quote, we will provide an updated quote reflecting the changes. The original quote remains void upon acceptance of a revised quote.

Important: Quotes are estimates. Hidden issues (damp, structural damage, previous poor workmanship) discovered during work may result in additional costs. We will notify you immediately of any issues and provide a revised estimate before proceeding or give you further steps to follow. e.g., contacting the relevant tradesman responsible for certain issues we may not be legally or insured to resolve. e.g., asbestos, electrical faults, etc.

Upon deposit payment, a project start date will be scheduled based on:

Any incurred costs associated with failure to do so: e.g., parking charge notices will be factored into your final bill.

  • Access to toilet facilities
  • Protected areas for equipment and materials
  • Removal of existing fixtures/obstacles as required, including wallpaper.
